About me
I’m old enough to remember when the internet didn’t exist, but young enough that it’s difficult to imagine life without it.
I’ve always liked building things and figuring out what makes stuff work, and the web is the most complex instrument I’ve ever encountered. It’s always changing, always evolving, so there’s always something new to discover, analyze, and then rebuild in a better way. To me, there’s nothing more satisfying than that.
I’m drawn to web work because it’s one of the few things I’ve found that satisfies both my left-brained creative side and my right-brained analytical side. Growing up, I was always torn between art and science, following up Calculus and Physics classes with Graphic Design and Photography. I even have two seemingly conflicting degrees; one in Film, and one in Computer Science. Websites are a careful balance between art and science, content and code, and that’s why I love working with them.
